"You and an Old Man beat the living crap out of a homesick mole. That's what happened to you just now." |
Episode[]
The episode begins with Alex "greeting" people back to the show in Spanish. Olaf from Frozen somehow has a connection to this as well, as Jirard mis-hears Alex saying "Hola." After that, Jirard welcomes everyone back to EarthBound, only it isn't.
After that, he is shown the Arrow Lizards, and Jirard once again uses his psychic powers first demonstrated in the EarthBound episode (Intro and Outro) by guessing which way each and every Lizard would turn to.
Progress[]
- Magypsies met
- Murki Cave escaped
Trivia[]
- Magypsies are possibly one of the reasons why Mother 3 is having troubles being released in the west.
- Magypsies all seem to be based on the Japanese stereotyping of an Okama (a crossdresser).
- According to the Mother 3 soundtrack composer Shogo Sakai, the seven Magypsy are named after the names of the seven modular scales in music theory: Aeolian (Aeolia), Dorian (Doria), Ionian (Ionia), Locrian (Locria), Lydian (Lydia), Mixolydian (Mixolydia), and Phygrian (Phygria).
- Alec describes Magypsies as genderless, although in conversation, they are referred to as he's and she's.
Question of the Day[]
What is your favorite non-sense thing that an NPC has said?
Alex gives an example of Tingle saying his magical words, Kooloo-Limpah, although he doesn't say if that is his favorite quote or not.
